Brief Description: Match Drill Bolt Control Column Mount
Today, I continued with Section 28 again, after finally getting a riveting partner to help me with riveting the firewall. I had to do some precision drilling of bolt holes that will secure the control column assembly later in the build. This is what allows the stick movements to translate into moving parts of the aircraft (i.e. it's important!). The problem is that I ended up screwing up the nutplate installs on the forward fuse bulkheads, so they will need to be made again. Time to place an order to Vans for more aluminum! :(
