Brief Description: N-Number Change

After thinking about this for a while, I decided to reserve a different N-Number for my RV-10. Originally, I had reserved 41PX, which was based on my plans to build/own an RV-3B with the N-Number 1PX (one passenger). The intent was to have the last 3 be the same, so my calls would be identical in both planes, plus there was a little play on the passenger theme. In the end, I sold the RV-3B project to focus on the RV-10, so this N-number no longer had the same appeal. My newly reserved N-number is 5PM (Five-Papa-Mike). Not only does this number appeal to me because my name is Mike and I am a papa, it also is an abbreviation for 5:00PM. One of my favorite songs by Alan Jackson and Jimmy Buffett talks about it being "5 o'clock Somewhere." Well, with this N-number, it will be 5PM everywhere I go! :)
