Tonight I began fabricating custom landing light brackets for use with my Duckworks cutout kit. My landing lights will be located in the outboard sections of each wing. While the coutouts have already been prepared, due to the small size of the space left over by my aux tanks, I needed to fabricate a custom-sized bracket to hold the landing lights. Besides being much smaller than the standard Duckworks bracket, my brackets hold a secondary bracket whcih holds the light. This allows fine adjustments of the light angles to be accomplished. Most of the time was spent doing layout and rough cutting.
