Today, I began flight training with my friend Bryan Raley, who is building an RV-8. Bryan also happens to have 20+ years of experience with the Civil Air Patrol, flying search and rescue miissions, not to mention all kinds of ratings, including both CFI ratings. He has been instructing for a very long time and it shows. Good thing he's a fried of mine and likes to go flying. My goal is to get re-familiarized with the airspace around Centennial (KAPA), which is the busiest GA airport in Colorado, with plenty of jets mixed in with the pistons. Also, it would be nice to get my BFR accomplished before Oshkosh Airventure this year, so perhaps I can log some time while there.
