Brief Description: Sportair Workshop - Electrical Systems & Avionics
So this weekend, I signed up to take another Sportair Workshop for homebuilding. This one teaches all about electrical system design and wiring avionics, which are very important parts of the airplane. Today we learned the basics of electrical system design and then went to the lab to wire up a typical headset plug connection. The test came when we plugged our projects in and did a mic check. Well mine worked just fine and I was also complimented on my crimping and strain relief techinique. After class was over, I went over to the hangars to see how Sean Thomas is coming along with the fuel tanks on his RV-7. All in all, it was a great day of plane-building talk and training.
