Brief Description: Match-drilling left top wing skins
Tonight was an epic night. I was very excited to be making progress with the skins. It's finally looking like a wing now, so I worked late and put in 5 hours tonight, drilling, drilling and drilling some more. By the end of the night, I realized something wasn't quite right near the wing walk section of the wing. Apparently, even though the small skin doublers look to be the same whether they are up or down, they are NOT! Fortunately for me, I was able to replace them with the unused ones that were for the right wing. It probably would have worked the way I had it, but I didn't like "knowing" it wasn't correct, so I re-did it. I will order two more skins from Vans before I get on to the right wing. They are small so they shouldn't cost much to buy or ship.
