Brief Description: Amelia is Born!

At 9:08PM on December 19th, 2011, Aneta and I welcomed our first child, Amelia Anne Rettig into the world. Just like the two of us, she was small, at 5 lbs, 11 ounces. Her first cry was little more than a uncomfortable whimper, so I can tell she will be good under stress. I haven't been able to get much done on the plane leading up to her birth, and I doubt I will be able to get much done for a while afterwards, but I can say that I am in totally smitten with her. I can't wait until she is able to be daddy's little helper.
We'll have family coming to visit us for 3 weeks in about 4 days, so for now, I'm signing off and taking a break from the plane project. Stay tuned...
