Brief Description: Completed the Horizontal Stabilizer!
Tonight, I finished riveting together the Horizontal Stabilizer and completed my largest plane part so far! Once I got all the rivets in up to the rear spar, I was able to swich to using the pneumatic squeezer instead of the bucking bar and rivet gun. While I was getting very good with the bar and gun, the pneumatic squeezer just makes everything so much easier. Once you have the "depth" of squeeze dialed in, it just keeps plugging along making perfect rivets in half the time, with less stress. After a few short hours and a couple hundred rivets, it was DONE! Now it's time to go back to work on the elevators and finish them up..
Using the pneumatic squeezer makes for great looking rivets.
