Brief Description: Dimpled HS skins & Started Riveting
Tonight I dimpled all of the holes in the HS skins and began riveting the framework together. Unfortunately, I was again short on rivets and had to stop because of it. I am amazed because I have always heard that Vans gives you plenty of rivets with the kits. However, this is the second time I have run short on rivets. The first time, I ordered extras because I had to redo the VS spar, but with that order I included some other rivet sizes that I was short on. Well apparently it has happened again, except this time I'm not to blame because I haven't drilled out any bad rivets! Oh well. Ordering some more rivets tomorrow... Guess I'll get started on the elevators.
