Around my birthday, Aneta suggested we spend some time to travel to Portland and visit some friends of ours, and of course take a plant tour at Vans Aircraft! So thoughtful! I had been wanting to do this for some time, and she felt it was as good a time as any. At the time I was still on the fence about whether to build an RV7 (two seater) or "go big" with the RV10 so our friends and family wouldn't have to take turns flying with me.. It was great to see the factory demonstrators and try them on for size. Unfortunately we never got a demo ride due to wonderful whether in Portland.
Weather prevented us from getting a ride in the 10. :(
