Aneta and I enrolled in an EAA Sportair Workshop for Vans RV Assembly the weekend before my birthday. It was great, but also a little humbling. After attending the mini sessions at Oshkosh and playing with my friend's rivet gun and pneumatic squeezer, I thought I was ready. To my suprise, the EAA workshop was very important for our education. Having never driven a rivet in her life, Aneta proved to be a natural at it. We also, got to have some experience working together through some challenges that will most likely repeat themselves during our build. Here are some pictures from our first day, making the test strip before moving to the actual "mini-wing" that we'll build tomorrow. How exciting!
