Brief Description:  Uphostering the Seat

Today, Amelia and I decided that the plane needed a real "fighter pilot seat." We went to Jo Ann's and picked out some marine grade leather fabric and some cushion foam (on sale!). Then, we drew out a cool shape of a seat on plywood scraps. I figured, that you can't just have a seat bottom, so I mirrored the shape of the seat somewhat and created a seat back shape to match. Once I cut the plywood pieces out on the band saw, Amelia went to sanding them down smooth. Then we used those pieces to draw the pattern onto the cushion material, which I also cut to size on the band saw.
