Tonight, I finished inventorying the 3 kit. It appears the canopy frame was deleted from the finishing kit on purpose because the previous builder intended to make it a slider, which requires a custom-made frame. No big deal, because I am leaning this way too. However, I plan to sit in a few 3 at the next Oshkosh Airventure to see whether I prefer the tip over or the slider. I called Vans and they have completed the transfer of the kit into my name, so I am now officially the builder of record. I also got pricing on the canopy frame, making sure it's still available for purchase, in case I decide to do a tip over after all.
