I'm pretty sure I can do better locally on the interiors, than the $750 for Sonex's interior, so I decided to make patterns. I'll have a local automobile upholsterer come over and see what I want, and have him leave with the patterns.
Photo 1 shows the pilot-side side panel. The square cut out at the upper left is for the cam lock that I installed to lock the canopy.
The other 2 cutouts are for wires that go over longerons, and so need to pass through the panel.
Photo 2 is the seat pan pattern, marked up. I'll enter the new dimensions in my CAD plan, plot out the results, and give those to the upholsterer.
