Brief Description:  Almost finished cleaning

Pulled 1/2 case out of the cleaner, rinsed it, and did a blow dry on it with my compressor. Took the oil relief plugs out (see note below). Took the prop base off the prop hub. Updrilled the forward crank bearing to #30 hole per AeroVee instructions.

1. The rear relief plug had a pretty obvious wear area at one quadrant. I'm wondering if that plug was haning up on the case and that's why I was getting lower than usual oil pressure.

2. Looking at the installed forward crank bearing, the oil supply hole was NOT updrilled. Just strictly by feel, this bearing appears to have the most wear of all the bearings. I wonder if the lack of an updrilled hole had something to do with that?

The only thing I have left to do is to get someone to press the prob hub off of the crank.
