Brief Description:
Air/Oil Separator
- Drilled a starter hole in the center of the left rocker cover, then updrilled it with a step drill.
- Put a lock nut on the 90 deg brass fitting, since the fitting did not have a flange to keep it from going through the valve cover.
- Siliconed the fitting into the hole, and then added another lock nut (photo 3) to the inside, and secured it with high temp silicone and LocTite.
See the next page (same date) for a photo of the AOS in place.
This location will miss the internal workings of the rocker arms.
A 90 degree brass fitting with a stop nut outside...
... and one inside. All with high temp silicone & Loc Tite.
