Brief Description:  Laying out and drilling firewall

After looking at Carl Orton's Kitlog site regarding his AeroVee installation, I got the best photos I'd seen yet, about how things look, or can look, when laid out on the firewall:

So I finalized several items and started drilling holes for them.

Photo 1 = coils (orange), voltage regulator just above the left coil, and the smoke oil tank to the right.

Photo 2 = smoke system pump and solenoid, to go under the smoke oil tank

Photo 3 = cabin heat box. The blue AN fitting at the upper left is the fuel supply. It's located where Sonex shows it on the plans.

I figure the starter relay will go to the right of the coils. There is room for other small items below where the relay will go, and between the coils and the smoke tank
