Brief Description:  Intake

The next step was to install the spark plugs, so I gapped them as noted in the AeroVee instructions. But neither the manual nor the video, nor my VW book, say whether or not to use the gaskets that come with the plugs. I will ask the AeroVee forum tonight.

So I went onto the intakes. You have to drill our own hole in the stainless attachment strap (photo #1), and bend it to make sure it goes around, and doesn't touch, the lower magnetron. Then it attaches with one of the engine case bolts (photo #3).

The "Y" intake collector then goes in the flexible hose fittings that also got installed tonight, on the intake manifolds (in photo #2).
