- Taped the canopy in place again over the canopy frame.
- Carefully located where to drill through the bows, by marking the points through the holes in the canopy that I drilled last night.
- Used a very thin bit to drill the initial holes.
- Did about 1/3 of these pilot holes on the pilot-side of the canopy.
- Removed the canopy material and upsized the holes in the bows to accept the screws.
- Deburred and cleaned up the holes in the bows.
- Put the canopy on again, then put screws through the canopy and the holes in the bows, and hand-tightened the lock nuts on them, just to hold the canopy in place.
- Re-taped the canopy in place and marked most of the remaining holes. Stopped there for the night.
Screws temporarily in place.
Instead of tapped holes, I am thru-bolting the canopy to the bows.
