- Installed the oil overflow tube. All that really means is I zip tied the end of it to the engine mount where it exits the lower cowl.
- Mixed some RTV high temp silicone with a little mineral spirits to thin it out to a liquid state (photo 1).
- Then dipped the cut ends of all the fire sleeves (fuel and oil lines) in it. This gets the silicone into the white inner fibers (see cut end in photo 1) so they don't soak up moisture, gas and oil. They need to dry overnight.
- Also installed (with teflon paste) the fine mesh fuel filter (blue, in photo 3) and tightened it down.
