Brief Description: Hinge cotter pins + LED light wiring
1. Installed the last 2 hinge pin cotter pins in the left elevator (photo #1). The only 2 control surface cotter pins left to do are the inside pins of the ailerons. I just can't get to them while the wings are on the wing stand. I have painter's tape with a not written on them, on the ailerons, so I don't forget.
I bought (10) 3/64" drill bits because these things break if you sneeze on them. I broke one just getting the last two cotter pins done.
2. I needed to run the + and - wires for the LED cockpit light, so I first had to connect the long wires to the short wires of the light. Best way to do that is to solder the wires together and cover with heat shrink (photo #2).
