- Reinstalled the flap and brake assemblies, which had been removed to allow room for the wing rigging (photo #1).
- Secured the push rodes to the idler assembly for the horizontal stabilizer (photo #2).
- When I went to test fit the control stick assembly I found that I had put the rivets for angles F16-06 R&L facing the wrong way, so that they were going to interfere with the control assembly. So I began drilling out the rivets.
When I first did the test fit I found there was a 3/8" gap betwen the control assembly and the F16-06 angles. I checked the plans and dimensions and as far as I can see I built the dimensions per the plans, but I don't think Sonex meant for there to be a 3/8" gap. I emailed Tech Support to see what insight they could offer.
Flap & brake assemblies back in place.
Elevator idler assembly and push rods secured.
These rivets are facing the wrong direction. I had to drill them out.
