Brief Description: Control stick grips & PTT switches
|
|
- I have the stick grips. They come with a PTT (push to talk) button at the top, but you have to do the soldering and strain relief, then scew them in place in the grip cap. Photo #1 shows the grip cap with the two 22ga wires after being soldered in place. The wires run down the stick tubes and out a small hole at the bottom that I added yesterday.
- Photo #2 shows one grip done, and the other with the grip cap in place with a set screw, and ready to slide the grip handle up to the cap.
- Photo #3 shows the completed dual-control assembly, ready for installation.
Actually, the wires for the PTT switches were not long enough to reach out the bottom of the stick, so I will get some more wire and connect to the ones from the PTT switch. Everything will get shrink tubing. The grips come off easily, so once I get the additional 22ga wire I'll do that work.
