Cut, filed and installed another bushing, and prepared the other end of the push rod for another bushing (which I need to buy).
Per the plans, the BUSHING is supposed to be the thing that rotates within the steel rod end. I had made them a tight fit so they were not rotating properly. I filed and sanded the rod end holes slightly and not the bushing turns within. Since the bushing is fully captured by the bolt head and nut, the bolt does not move.
This is a temporary installation since there is more to do that will involve removing these pivot assemblies.
