Tried to make (at least roughly) the end connections of the trim cable. At the aft end of the cable I could see the wire inside the inner sheathing (there is a plastic outer sheath, wound metal jacket, and then an inner plastic sheath). But at the cockpit end of the cable, even after cutting away 4 inches of the end of the housings I could find NO wire inside! Seems like maybe the wire got pulled back when at A/C Spruce or the factory, and so the wire does not run the full length of the sheathing. I will have to do some more investigation.
