Brief Description:  Wheel Pants & Canopy

Worked on the wheel pants:
- Sanded the 2nd wheel pant
- Added fiberglass to the aluminum reinforcing I added to the interiors. The reinforcing was epoxied in place, but that's not enough to hold the, so the glass is supposed to do that.
- Did this to both wheel pants

Had my wife help me lay the canopy over the fuselage to get a first look. The lower horizontal edges are noticably bowed out, so I can see where the stress along these edges would cause any stress riser at any drill hole, to crack.

I'll get my wife to help me with the first cuts tomorrow, at the back edge of the canopy. The installed COM antenna keeps the canopy from going back very far, so I'll start by cutting down the rear edge of the canopy, and them mark for the front and cut there.
