Made the (2) L01-07 wheel axle spacers, and drilled out the ends of the brake cable guides.
Photo #1 shows the first spacer cut. The tape is where the spacer needs to get pared down to. To keep a square end, I measured the 1-5/16" length and marked it in 5 places around the spacer. Then I used some painter's tape to "connect the dots" around the spacer, giving me a square line to cut and file to (see tape in photo #1).
Used a hack saw to get close to the tape line.
A little filing after photo #1 got me a nice finished edge at the tape line. Then I used the Scotch Brite wheel to smooth it out, and finally some sandpaper to smooth the inside edges of the two ends.
Then I drilled out 2 of the 4 ends of the tubes that make up the brake cable guides (photos #2 and #3).
Then I cleaned up everything with mineral spirits, let them dry, and sprayed them with primer to corrosion protection.
