Continued to try to polish. The wool polishing bonnets are all gunked up and need to be cleaned. Hard to do when it's freezing outside. Reluctant to put them in the wife's washing machine.
Looked for 7" polishing bonnets with hook/loop fastening, in all the local hardwar stores, Sears, Home Depot and Lowes, but no luck. Ordering online is expensive.
So that's why not much progress over the last week.
