For the second elevator skin, did the first level of polish while it's flat (before bending).
The one picture here just shows that I put painter's tape on the metal of the brake, since the bending of the skins will put the brake surfaces against the polished metal.
Putting painter's tape on all the metal surfaces that the skins will contact.
