Brief Description: Secure headset wiring to fuselage
To securely hold the headset wires I installed cusion clamps. I wanted them securely fastened to the aircraft structure, so I installed two-lug anchor nuts into the underside of the box beam behind the seats.
I used anchor nuts because they are more permanent than just putting sheet metal screws into the aircraft structure. Too easy to strip the aluminum now or in the future.
I forgot to take a picture of how I installed the anchor nuts, before I screwed the clamps in place, to you have to use your imagination in photo #3.
I drilled holes in the structure that were big enough to tak the entire diameter of the male end of the anchor nuts, and then installed the nuts with the lugs on the surface of the box beam, but with the male end up inside the structure. This got the anchor nuts tight to the structure and kept the cusion clamps pressed against the structure, to prevent them easily twisting in place.
I also installed zip ties every 4" or so along the bundle of wires.

The clamps are secured with machine screws into 2-lug anchor nuts.
