- Cut out C03-06 (seat sling) and cut out the large openings for the dual sticks. Still need to cut out the center portion, and then finish the edges. - (Several people had commented on how flimsy the .025 seat sling is. I supposed since it's a "sling" that the apolstry just sits on, it's not a big deal, but on someone else's suggestion I made mine of .032 metal to give it just a little more rigidity.)
- Bent another gusset: W17-03
At this point I'm estimating another 150 hours (for a total of 400 hours) to finish cutting out all the metal parts for the plane. That would give me the rough equivalent of what I would have gotten in the kit, in terms of sheet metal and angles. Add 800 hours to that and I might just finish in 1,200 total hours. Wishful thinking?
