Located and cleco'd the 3 attach angles for the glare shield to firewall connection.
- In photo #1 the first angle is fully updrilled and cleco'd to both the glare shield and the stainless steel firewall. It was another BEAR of a time drilling the stainless. the lip of the strap around the edge of the upper firewall hangs over the angle far enough that I could not get any clecos (they were too tall) into the angle to hold it in place. I had to locate hole #1, then rivet it. Now I swung the angle against the firewall and marked hole #2. I then cleco'd that in place. Now I could drill the rest of the holes using the pilot holes in the angle. I will drill out the rivets later, to deburr the pieces.
- Photo #2 shows the second angle in place (not updrilled, and not drilled into the firewall yet). With the first angle in place it was easier to hold this second angle against the firewall, and locate 3 holes in the glare shield with a sharpie. With the angle removed I pilot drilled those 3 holes, cleco'd the angle in place, and then drilled the rest of the holes.
- For angle #3 in photo #3 I did the same thing as with angle #2.
