- Pilot drilled for the floor stiffener (photo #1) and the gusset that attaches it to the firewall stiffener (not yet installed). The plan view has you looking in the wrong direction. The drawings show you viewing from the right side of the fuselage to the left (firewall would be on the right), but the cross section itself clearly shows the firewall to the left.
I'm building the lowered seat mod...
- I bought the C06-06 hat channel from Sonex; there was no way I was going to get that to work on my brakes. There is some fabrication required, so I did that (photo #2).
- Then I started puting together the F03-01 assembly (photo #3). I'll finish it tomorrow.
