By now I REALLY hate stainless steel! Working with stainless steel has now become my least favorite thing on this entire project! 1. It is nearly impossible to drill through 2. Once bent, it is nearly impossible to massage that bend. You bend it; you live with it.
The drawings on F17 are awful. You never know which way you are looking at things, since Sonex never keys in elevation or side views the way everything else in the industries of drawings, do. And on this sheet the drawings do a pitiful job of explaining what part goes where, and what should align with what. This is NOT a good drawing sheet!
I spent way more time than I should have had to, figuring out how the filler box goes together, and then trying to drill holes in the @$!* pieces. Got a total of 4 holes drilled, and one broken bit.
