- I had previously made the F14-04 angles that make the assemblies, but hadn't bent them yet.
- So I remounted the bending brake on the workbench and bent the long sheet metal angles.
- Instructions said to make the assembly by locating the -04 angle first, and then the piano hinge. But I found it more accurate (because the piano hinge does not bend along the perpendicular axis like the wavy bent -04 angles do) to stick the -04 sheet metal angle with several spots of double sided carpet tape, ensuring the angle is up against the hinge lugs, and then to stick that entire assembly to the -02 angles with double sided tape.
- Clamp the assembly down, and drill through everything at once (like in photo #2).
TONIGHT I HIT 1,300 HOURS.
