Brief Description:  14 Aft tailcone assembly

I'm building my Sonex with the Lowered Seat Modification. If you are not, then some of these pictures may look different than your layout.

- I located and installed the vertical Push Rod support assemblies (channels with plastic bushings).

- One of the holes for the plastic bushing was made a little too big and the bushing kept falling out. So I made a square "patch" of .025 aluminum, drilled the correct size hole in it, and riveted it in place centered on the too-big hole.

- Drilled only 2 holes in each, and cleco'd. They are not finish-drilled and riveted until the pushrod is installed later.

- Spent the rest of the evening test fitting the aft end, and making sure I had the order of installation correct. Some things will be pre-riveted outside the fuselage and then installed; other things need to go in in a specific order or you will 'paint yourself into a corner' where you can't get to something to secure a nut/bolt, or reach an area for riveting. I'll go step by step tomorrow night when I start doing the final assembly.
