Brief Description:
RIGHT flap construction
- Set the rest of the ribs in place, pilot drilled, and then updrilled, on 2 of 3 faces.
- Deburred and reassembled.
- Flipped flap over, closed skin over ribs (photo #2), then pilot drilled and updrilled.
- Once again used one of my metal straight edges for the hinge offset (I cleco'd the skin to the work table to hold it flat), per photo #3.
- Once again used double-sided tape to hold the hing in place while drilling. Got about a dozen holes drilled to hold the hinge in place.
2 of 3 sides of all ribs updrilled
Getting ready to close the skin over the ribs, to drill into the ribs on their 3rd side
