For the locating of the holes in the remainder of the root doubler (on this wing, it's part of the wing walk), I followed the steps I outlined in my 5/1/11 log entry.
- In photo #1 I installed the wing walk under the aft skin
- In photo #2 the root doubler is loosely laid over the forward rib. To get the correct bend I needed to install the leading edge skin OVER the doubler.
- So in photo #3 I'm reinstalling the leading edge skin. This will force the doubler to conform to the leading edge radius and allow me to locate the pilot holes.
