Brief Description: Dimpling RIGHT leading edge skin
- Finished dimpling the other face of the leading edge skin
- Deburred the top holes at the back end of the skin, where it attaches to the wing spar
- Put the leading edge back on to check the fit of all holes for rivets, I though I would have to up-drill all the holes, but the #35 holes expanded just about perfectly. Only about 10 holes had to be updrilled.
Next I will need to flip the wing and do these same things to the other face of the leading edge skin.
These wings take a lot of hours to make. I sure hope the fuselage goes easier/faster.
Skin held in place after dimpling, to check fit of rivets through skin-and-ribs
