Brief Description:  Install RIGHT leading edge skin

With the wing flipped over, next I up-drilled all the leading edge skin holes to a #35 (to fit the nail for the simple dimple die).

Then I began dimpling. All of the rivet holes that are accessible by hand through the wing ribs, can have the skin and rib dimpled together at the same time (pictures below). That was 4 ribs at the root end, adn 3 at the tip end (though the 3rd at the tip end was an excercise in contorsion).

After dimpling, all the dimpled holes were updrilled to the final rivet size. In test fitting the rivets, they fit very snugly, so I don't see any point to "reaming" the holes to size. The drill seems to work just fine. But I would suggest that after dimpling the skin and ribs separately, cleco it all back together before updrilling the holes. That way they will be aligned and the updrilled hole will be perfect through both pieces.

Tomorrow night I'm going flying, so not sure how much I'll get done, but the next task is to remove the leading edge skin and dimple all the rest of the skin and the ribs.
