Continued working on the 2nd W19-02. Got the rest of the holes drilled, the outline cut out, and the inspection hole cut out.
Fessing up: While making the 4" dia inspection hole with a fly cutter, the set screw on the fly cutter slipped and it put a 4-1/2" dia gouge in the wing! Damn! I couldn't leave the gouge there, so I decided to use one of my hole saw blades and cut a 5" dia inspection hole, to cut away the gouged area. The hole isn't any closer to the rib line than on the original plans, so I don't think there will be any problems. I'm making my inspection covers our of lexan, so I'll just make this one a little larger.
Gotta' find a way to make lemonade out of lemons!!
