- Spent about 3 hours making the template/jig I will use to cut out all the main ribs with a router (see January 8, 2010 for more info).
- Spent the rest of the time laying out (on a 48"x144" 0.025 sheet), the last 3 nose ribs (I already made the other 23 earlier in the year), and 20 of the main ribs (all that will fit on this size aluminum sheet).
- Not shown, but then I cut out 5 main rib blanks, and the 3 nose rib blanks.
(2) pieces of 3/4" plywood. Next step was to screw together and sand edges to alingnment.
After cutting the holes with a jigsaw, used a rotary sanding drum to finish.
Laid out the last 3 nose ribs, plus 20 of 26 main ribs.
