Brief Description: Started counter-sinking W10-03 of right spar
Started counter-sinking W10-03 of right spar. I began by practicing on some pieces to get the countersink depth right. Since the .032 thick W10-01 web gets dimpled into the countersink, there's no way to tell if the end result will be flush except by trial and error.
Looking at the section on W08 it looks like the countersink goes about half way through the thickness of W10-03, but I couldn't get the rivet flush without going more like 3/4 of the way through.
I got about a dozen holes done tonight. Most of the night was spent practicing.
All set up to practice
First try above (shallower countersink), second below (deeper countersink)
