Got all the clips for the wrist pins replaced on 2 cylinders. Was going to install the pistons in the cylinders with the ring compresser, then realized that with the full wrap-around type compresser I have, that was only going to work if I FIRST took the piston off the rod, used the compresser, and then removed the compresser off the bottom of the piston. Then the piston and cylinder together would get installed on the rod with the wrist pin.
I didn't realize that, and instead of wrangling with the clips again, I ordered an inexpensive ring compresser set that clips on/off from the side: http://www.mechanicstoolsupply.com/Piston-Ring-Compressor-Set_p_17894.html
