Brief Description:  Forward fuselage floor structure

- Drilled holes in the bottom leg of C06-05. The plans say to locate the holes per the holes in the bottom skin, but that is incorrect. The holes are located per F10, in the C06-05 channel, and then transferred to the skin. To make sure the C07-02 assembly is straight and not bowed, I clamped then ends per photo #1. I then drew a short guide line at the front edge of the C06-05 leg, at both ends. Then I removed the channel, used a 36" straight edge to connect the two guidelines, then re-clamped C07-02 back in place. Now I could man handle the front edge of the channel leg to align with the guide line while I drilled a pilot hole through the bottom skin. The green guide line is just visible in photos #2 and #3.

- Drilled about half of the pilot holes through C06-05 and into the bottom skin.

- Then clamped the ends of the C06-07 cap assembly at the ends and against the C07-02 assembly. I then clamped the C06-07 cap assembly to the C07-02 assembly in a few locations down its length, and drilled pilot holes to mate the two.

- I laid out the rest of the pieces at this floor area just to see how they all fit together.
