Brief Description:  Reinstall Engine

With the generous help of Ron Jones today we reinstalled the engine. This time we tried hanging the aluminum accessory plate (the big hunk of aluminum that the engine hangs on) FIRST. That wasy we could get the rubber mounts fully installed and seated without the engine encumbering the process.

I use engine mount bolts that were one size shorter than in the plans. We cinched up the nuts until they bottomed out on the shoulders of the engine mount bolts, trying to create enough friction to keep the engine from sagging on the mounts as it's been doing constantly. The next thing we are going to do is try making our own polyurethane engine shock mounts; something harder and more durable than this rubber stuff.

The oil cooler still needs to be installed (waiting for a new fitting from A/C Spruce), and the valve rocker gaps need to be set. Other than that it's ready to go!
