Photo 1: Using 3 passes of Nuvite F9 polish, then 1 pass with the final C-grade, I got a nice mirror finish. I clean up between passes and between polish grades with liberal minieral spirits. But I have found rubbing alcohol AFTER that, does a really good job of cleaning up while leaving the shine.
Photo 2: is the non-slip wing walk material I got from A/C Spruce. It is textured, but not with a sand/grit finish, so it won't scuff off and scratch the wing.
Photo 3: I flipped the wing walk material over, and did the following: a) Made "EXPERIMENTAL" letters 2" high (minimum required by FAA). I did it in my CAD program where I had more control over text than I can in MS Word. b) Printed the letters in one long strip, with an extra space between each letter. c) Sprayed spray adhesive on the FRONT side of the paper, and then stuck the letters to the back side of the wing walk material. d) I measured and cut the wing walk material into equal strips.
