Spray-cemented the pattern for the pushrod tube cover, to some .025 aluminum. Cut out the basic shape, then bent it on the brake (photo 1).
To make sure no small items can get past the pushrod cover I measured the existing structure behind the seat, and cut the cover to go around the structures (photos 2 and 3).
I can't do anything with it until I attach the bottom skin, so I'll just finish all the edges and set it aside.
BTW, I plan to attach this to the bottom skin with industrial velcro, rather than fasteners. Fasteners would have to be inserted from the outside in, and I'd like easier access since I need to inspect the pushrod cover each year.
