Brief Description: Drill screw holes in canopy (pg 1 of 2)
- Used duct tape to hold the canopy in place. Painter's tape was too weak. The protective plastic film is still on the outside and inside faces of the canopy.
- The locations for the screws were already marked on the canopy frame bows earlier (you can see them in photos 2 and 3).
- I added alignment marks on the canopy and the tape I had around th edges of the fuselage.
- Then I marked the locations for the screw holes in the canopy, being careful to align them centered on the canopy frame bows.
Canopy held in place with duct tape. Painter's tape was not strong enough.
Left: line on canopy frame, and round mark on canopy to be drilled. Line on tape/canopy to align.
