Brief Description:  Re-fitting the cowl

With the upper and lower cowls glassed together, I installed all the baffling and then the cowl, to re-look at where I need to go next.

I wish I could just go onto cutting openings for the exhaust, fuel cap, oil, etc. But in photo 2 you can see what I'm dealing with at the moment. The lower cowl section is standing out from the prop hub, while the upper cowl is standing back from it slightly.

I first installed the cowl without the forward baffles and the lower cowl was much closer to the prop hub, so it must be the baffles that are pushing out the lower cowl. I'm going to need to figure out where, and fix it, or I'll have to cut the lower cowl at the blue line in photo 2, move it back and re-glass it in place.
